MÖTLEY CRÜE: Another 'Biography' Preview Clip Available
February 19, 2009MÖTLEY CRÜE is the subject of a new episode of the A&E series "Biography" airing tonight (Thursday, February 19) at 10:00 p.m. ET on the cable channel. A new preview of the Vince Neil segment can be seen below.
A decription of the program reads as follows: "The poster boys for Eighties hair metal, MÖTLEY CRÜE parlayed whiplash hard-rock songs, melodic power ballads and a hedonistic image into platinum-level heavy-metal superstardom, topping the charts with 'Dr. Feelgood' and coming close with 'Theatre of Pain', 'Girls, Girls Girls' and a greatest-hits collection. MÖTLEY CRÜE lived the rock-and-roll lifestyle to its fullest, with celebrity marriages, substance abuse and scrapes with the law."
MÖTLEY CRÜE will make an official announcement for this summer's Crüe Fest — the second edition of the CRÜE's own festival-style package tour — on Monday, March 16. Until then, the official Crüe Fest 2web site is hosting the countdown clock. Additionally, a hotline has been established. Fans can call 818-748-9075 to hear a pre-recorded message from CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx. Long-distance charges apply.
MÖTLEY CRÜE kicked off a new North American arena tour on February 2 in San Diego, with HINDER, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, and newcomers THE LAST VEGAS also on the bill. The trek will last through March 18, when it winds down in Portland, Maine.
